3 students from Resonance to represent India in Indian Junior Science Olympiad, 2015

What a day to start with great news that three of our students have been selected for the final round of International Junior Science Olympiad (InJSO) to be held in South Korea. The results were announced on 25th May 2015 at the culmination of three weeks long camp held at Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) Mumbai.

The camp witnessed the competition between 29 bright students drawn from all parts of the India. There were tested on theory and experimentation skills both for these 3 weeks. Highlights are as under:

  • Yash Gupta stood first in the camp while Lay Jain and Pawan goyal were in top four.
  • All three students are from Resonance PCCP kota and have been studying since class 7, presently in class X.
  • This is a rare academic feat by any standards for any coaching institute in Olympiad segment. Lot of credit goes to PCCP kota team which has been preparing them for last 3 years for this examination.
  • Special mention should be given to contribution of YCCP (XI, XII, XIII class division of Resonance) faculty team and HODs like CSS sir and SPR sir for direct involvement during stage 2 and stage 3 preparations.

While getting selected in IJSO, Yash and Lay who were performing very good in IAO ( Jr) OCSC camp also have to forego IAO option.

While others claim that they have created history, for Resonance it has been created already and it repeats it every year.
